Principal's Message

“It is not what is poured into the student, but what is planted, that counts.”-  E. P. Bertin

We at HBCS believe in an inclusive education system where the children of different culture, socio-economic background, belief or physical ability are given equal chances to reach their maximum potential for learning and succeeding. The school aims at building a cohesive and inclusive society rather than just to form an elite group. Apart from the usual syllabus, we make it a point to impart some life lessons too which will be helpful for them in the long run instead of only bookish knowledge that they obtain in regular classes. Of course, it is equally essential to let them understand the importance of securing good grades in order to fit in the competition these days.

Children are in a very vulnerable stage both emotionally and physically. So we have to handle them very carefully. It is crucial to listen to them too, not just talk or deliver speech. Here at HBCS, we try to understand their needs and focus to maintain a communicative relationship with them so that when they are in problem, they could approach us easily. We also motivate and encourage each one of them as at times the brilliant students might fluctuate in their path and the average and poor ones might not keep up with the pace. So it is equally important to maintain balance among them throughout the working year. In this school, we try to be their friend, guide, counselor and facilitator more than a mere knowledge provider. After all in future, they will remember how we made them feel rather than how we talked.
